When reading a book, I always use full-screen mode. The reading preferences I use are:
Autoswitch: On
Tapping in the center: On
Hide header bar: On
Hide Footer bar: Off
iPhone X Notch: On
Keep the reading position: On
When switching to another app while the text is in full screen mode and later returning, the text is sometimes still in full screen mode, but other times the large-sized header bar and tab bar are both visible and I need to tap in the center to restore full screen mode. This seems to be true whether or not I use the Autoswitch preference, in fact I'm not sure what Autoswitch is exactly meant to do. Is it possible to always open in full screen mode?
