Import of RAW Samples

Is it possible to get support for loading good old 8 bit signed & unsigned 
samples?

I am using the old ST-XX samplecollection from the amiga with MilkyTracker, and 
want to use them in klystrack too ;)

ST-disks are a good enough reason to add this (how could I forgot those?-).

BTW: Why are the songs with samples sooo big?
Converting an old MOD to klystrack Song is much bigger then the old MOD oO..

In klystrack samples are 16-bit and the files are so doubly large (didn't 
bother to optimize this since the main focus for me at least is the synth). I 
will add lossless compression later which probably works quite well with 8-bit 
(or less) samples with lots of redundant bits.
