Hi/2.
Thanks for your report, and I can reproduce this problem here.
I'll try to fix soon.

Try this: mkv.zip https://github.com/komh/vlc-os2/files/5989926/mkv.zip
Just unzip in your /vlc2 directory.

Hei,
Unfortunately, it doesn't work. The first attempt stalled the entire system.
main warning: cannot load module `G:\VLC2\USR\LOCAL\LIB\vlc\plugins\demux\mkv_plug.dll' (dlopen rc=2 extra=EBML)

Subtitles work well also in the matroska container, but video playback stopped for a short time after you browse the video. I've used VLC little, I prefer K Movie Player if the subtitles are not required, or MPlayer if I need the subtitles. So I don't know if VLC does that often.
When I made the log files, on the first attempt the system crashed.
Many thanks for your work.

Good to know that subtitle works! I'll close this.
And if you want, please open a ticket for to a short time freezing(?).
Thanks!
Vlc 3.0.12 does not open subtitles when they are in the matroska container. The same applies to versions 3.0.10 and 3.0.11. Vlc 3.0.9 displays texts, but only in Times Roman font, regardless of what is selected in the settings.
