Personally I'm :-1: on this, unless a lot of care is taken to avoid just dropping in context-less data. Lists of top donors and sectors are reductive in any medium, but it's particularly corrosive on a screen where that's all there's room for.

People looooved the News tab for politicians and for bills, during the years it was in the app. One way to channel this (which I have suggested before) would be to integrate Sunlight's high-quality, high-context campaign finance reporting into the app.
