The "source" field seems like an important one for this spec, but RSS already has a "source" field, and it means something pretty different:
"source: The RSS channel that the item came from." RSS 2.0 Specification
This is meant for attributing items back to their source channels, so when you aggregate RSS items, you can "give credit". Perhaps the RSS-JSON "source" field should be renamed to avoid confusion?
