Complete @mbrand1's refactor to use the Node TLS module #87

This is nearly all @mbrand1's work, from #84 and #86, plus a few commits I've added at different points.

Since #86, I added one commit, c2449dfb679b9f805c951df54e80c818f4711250, which updates the test suite to expect and test for the presence of the root certificate in each site's chain (even if the site doesn't directly serve it).

Closes #84, as it's mooted by this one.
