alarm-panel-esp8266 turns off siren power if it has no connection #39

Hello everyone, I noticed that during the upgrade of my network (I have UniFi as network brand) if the Konnected card (I have 5 alarm-panel-esp8266) loses WiFi connection, it disables the siren switch and then my sirens sound (they are 2 12V outdoor sirens that if they are not powered, rightly start to sound). This happens every time, I have solved it momentarily by setting the firmware updates of the switches, AP and UniFi services to 12PM so as not to wake up the neighborhood in the middle of the night. I would like to figure out how to fix this problem, though, as it does not seem normal to me.

Thank you

This is a wiring issue, not a firmware issue. If your sirens require a constant 12V supply (this is common in the UK and Europe but not in North America), then use the 12V AUX + and - to supply continuous power. There should be an additional input on your siren for the siren trigger, which should be wired to the ALARM terminal. The ALARM terminal pulls to ground when the siren is activated.
