Figure out how to deal with mathml

MathJax might be the answer. I know wikipedia now has support for Mathjax. When I checked last, it was kind-of experimental, where users could enable it if they wanted to. I don't know about mediawiki in general.

For me the mml: tags were removed. I'd be happy to implement the mathml support for mediawiki. I tried with pmid: 22548090 the first mml element I found is

Can't we just keep the math element as they are? or change the mml:math or even better change them to $and\; remove\; the\; mml\; prefix\; inside\; the\; math\; elements?$
