Need something for the LICENSE file #5

Right now it's an empty file.

Not really decided yet actually - Public Domain is always my first choice, but I would consider GPLv3 too if any of you thinks that is better.

Chris linked to some objections by the OSI regarding putting code into the PD (http://www.opensource.org/faq#public-domain). I am more a BSD person but would be fine with anything open. So GPLv3 would be okay for me too.

Interesting, hadn't seen that. Pushes me towards GPLv3. d.

I added a statement to the README file that this is in the public domain.
