Freezing

The packet tracer works perfectly, until I use the 'save'/'save as' option. Unexpectedly it freezes the application, and even ubuntu (gdm3). Since I can't save the project, I have to kill the process and redo it again. Do you have any idea why this happens?

I can't reproduce it here (Ubuntu 20.04.3 in VM). Can you try running it in Terminal and paste the output?

I tried it on Xubuntu and I have the same problem. Execution result in the terminal:

Can you try installing .deb file from Cisco site? Or if you can't do this - with 8.1.0 AppImage?

Yeah, I didn't know that this problem already existed in Packet Tracer.

No, I just tried .AppImage from 7.3, so I will try .deb file or new version 8.1. But I believe this problem is probably still there.

I haven't had time to test it yet. More I solved this "error" by making a copy of the file and saving the changes directly in the copied file.
