Isolate JDK dependent container scripts from minor release numbers. #727

Recently upgraded JDK-11 from 11.0.6+10 to 11.0.8+10. It turned out that 11.0.6 was hardcoded in a surprising number of places. See #726. It would be nice to be able to upgrade JDK-11 versions without having to change the world.
