Steps to reproduce

See time required until a fossil diff is rendered, or try to edit on the right side of the diff

Description

I don't recall performance being an issue, but for the last few days, the fossil plugin has become super slow for me (this is on a MacBook Pro M2 Max with 32GB).

I seem to remember that the latest VSCode has some new feature around showing diffs. Perhaps something needs to be updated in the plugin to work with the new diff.

Hm, restarted VSCode, can't reproduce anymore. closing for now.
