What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Look at the code, e.g.
2. https://code.google.com/p/crcutil/source/browse/code/platform.h#40 and
3. https://code.google.com/p/crcutil/source/browse/code/platform.h#49

At time defined(PREDEFINE) is used, at time it isn't
