Works with 1.0.7 installation.

I looks like v1.0.8 was compiled with Java 1.6
Do you have the same problem with hudson view?

It turns out that there are 1.6-specific API calls, so it's not possible to use
1.5
anymore. The plugin has been marked 1.6 only, so Eclipse shouldn't allow
installation
anymore.

Can you release an update site url for v1.0.7 (compiled with 1.5)?

On initial analysis the use of 1.6 calls is minimal. Taking the 1.6 only
approach
means that:

1) Users are forced to use 1.6, which may not be an option for many e.g.
corporate policy

or

2) Forces users to abandon use of this fantastic plugin

I would politely ask you to reconsider this route.

Patches are welcome, but I'm not investing anymore time in jdk 1.5 myself.
Please
also notice that only Eclipse has to run with 1.6, you don't have to target
your own
development to 1.6.

I think only to support 1.6 is okay, as J2SE 5.0 end of service was reached
last
year.

Unless you're using the IBM JRE and one of the IBM versions of their eclipse
based tools (ie Rational Software Architect (RSA) or Rational Application
Developer (RSA)).
