Adding Patches #4

Hello sir,

which kernel version supported which are given patch and how to add patch because i am trying to add its in kernel version 4.4.15 but getting error.So please suggestion as soon as possible.

I am applying patch following way but getting error.

$git am 0001-f_fs-accept-unknown-ep-descriptors.patch
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Applying: f_fs: accept unknown ep descriptors error: drivers/usb/gadget/function/f_fs.c: does not exist in index Patch failed at 0001 f_fs: accept unknown ep descriptors The copy of the patch that failed is found in: .git/rebase-apply/patch When you have resolved this problem, run "git am --continue". If you prefer to skip this patch, run "git am --skip" instead. To restore the original branch and stop patching, run "git am --abort". /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

So please, gives the full description that how to apply patch in kernel source code.

when apply second patch then get following error:

git apply 0002-Let-functionFS-handle-weird-descriptors.patch

error: patch failed: drivers/usb/gadget/composite.c:1534 error: drivers/usb/gadget/composite.c: patch does not apply Patch failed at 0001 Let functionFS handle weird descriptors The copy of the patch that failed is found in: .git/rebase-apply/patch When you have resolved this problem, run "git am --continue". If you prefer to skip this patch, run "git am --skip" instead. To restore the original branch and stop patching, run "git am --abort".
