Project status? #135

This project is linked to from the Kops roadmap. What's the status of it? Is it production ready or still a work-in-progress?

I'm also interested in the project status...

The https://github.com/kubernetes/kops/blob/master/docs/etcd/manager.md was modified in the beginning of October and mentions "etcd-manager is currently in early alpha" a lot. The last commit to the master branch of this repository was mid October - I personally wouldn't anticipate much change regarding the "alpha" status.

I know @justinsb and others are pretty interested in https://github.com/platform9/etcdadm ... Can we officially start migrating feature parity over into etcdadm ? See also https://github.com/kubernetes/org/issues/308 .

Also have questions here - there are some soft-spots revolving around tls that I am willing to help contribute but if the project is being spun-down should I try to focus efforts somewhere else?
