Just realized that the repo moved to https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/etcdadm/tree/master/etcd-manager. If you don't mind, can you recreate the PR there and I will merge it?

are you sure? the edit link from https://kops.sigs.k8s.io/operations/etcd_backup_restore_encryption/ took me to this repo.

Yes, please see https://github.com/kubernetes/kops/pull/11098. There are still some issues to solve, but this is final.
