In this quest from Nagrand, Altruis the Sufferer sends you to Shattrath city to talk to Sal'salabim to persuade him (attack him) to talk to you. When you click on him and then click on his emote to talk to us, he simply goes from attack mode immediately back to friendly. so there is no way to attack him and complete the quest
