Gold master servers are gone ? #320

Im guessing this is the case, perhaps the wiki examples should be updated.

Is this permanent? When did you notice this?

I can’t find any information that this is an intended shutdown of the GoldSrc master servers. Although I did expect Valve to pull the plug on the old infrastructure someday.

well i cant get any response from them though steam-condensor or steam server browser, there are a few off hand comments, but i didnt find any announcement
