Question/request about CV input

Hello, Thanks a lot for this module ! one question, i would like to use CC MIDI to create my presets, but looks like CV inputs are master ? And if i keep my CC connected to cv inputs, i can't create presets...any chance to have a kind of "pass only if change " feature ?

Can I just second this, being able to set the presets with CV, then say "These CV settings are now this preset" would be amazing. I'm thinking the flow would be something like:

wire everything
choose a preset - outputs all go to that presets' value
right click choose "program with cv" or something from menu
now changing the cv to "pick" up the settings works just as if you were working manually with the mouse
if you change preset while in program mode, the outputs change to the newly selected preset
if you go back to the previous preset, the changes you made via CV come back
if you exit programming mode, the presets are saved and work as they do now

Just a thought, but I really want to have something working like this. Actually reading this back, maybe it could just work like it was in "cv programming" mode all the time, not sure.

It would be really useful, I'm almost at the point of trying to write this in my own module - my use case is I have an effect with 22 CV inputs, chaining 3 prestovniks together. Pluggins and unplugging the 22 cables to allow me to use the presets is a real pain. to program a preset, I have to set it up with the midi controller, then manually unplug each cable in turn then manually program the value it was. It's tough if I forget because when I unplug the cable, the output doesn't change, but if I run to a different preset then come back, I then find that that value wasn't saved after all.

I love the "pick up" nature of the manual programming, having that in the CV control would be wonderful too. Basically, let the CV's behave as the mouse currently behaves. Or have a mode that allows that.

Hi, unfortunately I don't plan to work on my VCV Rack plugs at the moment. It was just fun, I'm not a developer. But it cost me a lot of time and health. I don't rule out a return in the future.

oh, does this mean your plug-in will not be compatible with Rack 1.0 ? really sad news

I will try to make my plugins compatible with version 1.0. Let's wait until version 1.0 appears.
