Though what about the original problem?

I don't think the issue with wpa_supplicant applies on android. Anyhow, lets ping @NiLuJe and @benoit-pierre

Yeah, the patch ought to be irrelevant on Android, so if that fixes your Android 14 issue, that saves me the trouble of looking into the upstream commits to see what could be a likely culprit ;p.

Good to know that CLOEXEC sockets are broken as hell on Android, though...
