Hololense 2 ALXR Client Crashing #108

Description

When starting alxr-client(alxr-client-uwp_1.38.1.0_x64_arm64.msixbundle) through the Hololense 2, the app never makes it past the default loading screen. If I start the app through the developer portal I get a message that says "Failed to start package ALVR.alxr-client_xd1f6pn5qg9wm!App (0x8027025b)". My Hololense 2 Windows version is "22621.1376.arm64fre.ni_release_svc_sydney_rel_prod.240424-0600".

Hardware

Note: for Linux, an upload to the hw-probe database is preferred: hw-probe -all -upload

CPU: I7-9700k

GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080

Audio: Built-in Realtek driver

Installation

ALVR Version: ALVR streamer v20.8.1

SteamVR Version: Beta 2.6.2

Install Type:

OS Name and Version (winver on Windows or grep PRETTY_NAME /etc/os-release on most Linux distributions): My windows machine: 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3593) Hololense 2 Windows version: 22621.1376 in settings or "22621.1376.arm64fre.ni_release_svc_sydney_rel_prod.240424-0600" from the dev portal.

I can see the issue, all the DLLs and shaders are not being packaged, will try to sort it out sometime this week.

Should work now try v0.38.2, i've also upgraded the ffmpeg libs (used by the client) to v7.

Note the client will only connect to the server builds from the same download page, the version mentioned in first post is not compatible.

Sorry, I have not got around to trying it yet but I will attempt to soon. Ill get back to you when I do.

Unfortunately same issue. Both clients crash. (The desktop and Hololense 2 client.) I do not think I will be able to do any more testing as of right now due to the fact that I as am quite busy with other stuff at the moment. Thank you for your help though.
