Saving Sequences from the Volca to external devices/softwares #11

Hey there,

vosyr is a great piece of software (https://www.frederikson-labs.com) to send samples AND (!) sequences to the volca sample. Unfortunately it lacks the functionality to save whole sequences or songs to an external device, due to limitations of the volca.

Is it possible that such a function could be implemented? It would be great to have a way to save all the work saved on my volca sample on an external device for future reuse.

Hi Markus,

Thank you for getting in touch, we're glad you've been making the most of your Volca Sample. Unfortunately, exporting samples and/or sequences out of the Volca Sample is not in the plans and is unlikely to be implemented in the foreseeable future.

Best Regards,

Does the new Volca Sample have any support for loading/saving data over MIDI?

Considering that the sample 1 can take data in via an audio cable, why not allow at least some similar kind of rudimentary dump in that same format? Teenage Engineering's PO-33 can let you save songs this way. Being able to save the state and then restore it in this way would make the sample a lot more valuable.
