Squashed commits from my dev branch into a new branch to remove confusing commits that did opposite things (like restoring files). Going forward, I'll make fixes in my dev branch and squash before merging back into this PR. Sorry if I'm making things messy - I'm ok with Git, but don't often do PRs so may be bad with etiquette. Happy to adjust as needed!

I made converters API more consistent #51, I'll merge it into master and rebase jfr-to-cflamegraph
