Theming issues in Korora Gnome 25 #80

I upgraded to 25 today and noticed these bugs. I dunno if I should post it here or somewhere else, so I hope someone can tell me where I should report these bugs.

The icons for tools and stuff are gone in GIMP https://izumi.tv/i/theming%20gimp%20bug.png

In the owncloud client under activity you can clicks entries and then they become unreadable https://izumi.tv/i/theming%20owncloud%20settings.png

In the lower left bar (I think activity bar?) doesn't show icons for steam and owncloud. https://izumi.tv/i/theming%20steam%20and%20owncloud.png

Thanks for reporting this. I'm running the same, but gimp looks fine to me. Are you running Xorg or Wayland?

Wayland on an nvidia gtx 560ti with open source drivers. When I switch to Xorg issue #1 and #3 are gone, but #2 still persists. So my guess is #1 and #3 are wayland issues (for me) and #2 is a theming issue?

Also it's not all icons when I'm using wayland either. Libreoffice, firefox and thunderbird are fine for example. But Deluge also shows no icons. https://izumi.tv/i/theming%20deluge.png

Hmm that looks more like a graphics driver issue than theming, to me, perhaps bugs with the nouveau driver. As a troubleshooting step, is it possible to try nvidia driver with Xorg and see if the issues go away?

sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia

I'm on my laptop with an AMD card (with open source drivers), but still on Korora 24. The owncloud activity highlights white here too. https://izumi.tv/i/theming%20owncloud.png You can see the text because unreadable. This definitely looks like a theming issue.

I'll try the nvidia drivers when I get home to my desktop PC with the nvidia card. Would it fix the black icons in Wayland by any chance?

OK, interesting, thanks. I don't think nvidia will work with wayland yet, so it would restrict you to X. I'll see if someone has an owncloud setup to test, also.
