Could you please provide some more information on your platform? Which mobile
phone
do you use and which Android version could be helpful.
Furthermore, if you restart the application after this error happened, are
there any
entries on the sim card visible? Please also double-check via the
Android-builtin
contacts importer through
"Contacts->(Menu-button)->Import contacts(the one with the sim-like icon)" if
there
is really nothing stored on the SIM card.

Ok, I'm unable to reproduce this here. @vovkav, are you maybe able to connect
your
mobile to an Eclipse-debugger?
Furthermore to clarify (again, sorry): Most providers sell simcards with already
stored service-numbers etc. This is NOT the case with your provider?

If You provide me with details how to connect mobile to eclipse debugger, i
will try
(if it doesn't consume too much time).
I am unsure of service numbers, though I am sure there is sim menu...

Do you have any experience with developing Java applications in Eclipse and do
you
have the Android tools (SDK/ADT) installed?
If not, this will take quite some time and I do not want to bother you that
much.
Moreover because I suspect there are still some SIM-access related bugs burried
within Android which I doubt to be solvable/workaroundable from the
application-side
(eg. Issue #2, where I have to deal with an un-deletable entry but it seems that
commercial software also has problems there).
