update dependencies: image 0.17.x, gif 0.9.x, png 0.11.x #16

Or perhaps specifying "*" as version would be better? What do you think?

Published crates aren't able to use wildcard dependencies, since they have the potential to break semver, and just lead to unexpected things in general.

But anyway, thank you for contributing! I'm the new maintainer, so hopefully things will be more active now.
