Offboarding of an Executive. #16

There is a bit flaw regarding the current model. Governance week -> We don't offboard ctm even with meagre contribution because we take a bit empathetic take, that one year might not be a lot for someone to display his skills and contribution which is quite true. We try to convince them to leave, but sometimes we aren't good enough to display them that it is for their own good. And if they display some interest or we think or find that they have benefitted from KoSS, even we are convinced that let him stay, not that we would have forced him, but then we genuinely believe that he should be in KoSS. And second year is particularly bad from my experience. You don't know what you want to do, you have lots of options, and removing someone forcefully is quite unkind and definitely I wouldn't want someone to go through considering them as my college juniors rather than koss member(credits to kshitij for this beautiful thought). Executives -> Now the ctm's are executives. YaY. Even if someone have contributed formidably being a ctm his interest might wane, and vice versa. Now being a third year we start to get some direction(considering a b.tech student). We know what we want to do and whom we want to associate. We might know that this is what we are interested in. But there will be small intersection who might not have "brought anything considerable" being both as ctm and executives. And their contribution are almost nil. As the current thought that I am aware, we don't remove executives, let's proceed to them becoming advisor. Advisor -> Now there are three types of people, who have contributed as

  1. ctm but not a lot as executive,
  2. executive but not a lot as ctm
  3. neither as ctm nor as executive
