For few months, I always felt that there needed to be a checklist of things, while organizing an event. I felt it was a serious thing that was missing in docs. Since new executives will be onboarding soon, this is the right time that such a set of guidelines is made.
Though some of the points in the doc might seem too obvious to mention. There have been incidents in the past, where such minor things have been neglected and they had a considerable negative effect on the workshop. All of the points have been written from the mistakes of previous workshops.
Feel free to oppose any of the points. If there are any points that require deeper explanation, please mention them. But it is equally important that the doc is concise(we don't want to waste a reader's time).
