I have commented out the " What are the minimum contributions I have to do to get successfully recognized as to have completed the programme? " To which the answer was:: You need to have at least 3 Pull requests merged by the end of the program.

What happens if two people are working on an issue, one completes it before the other and sends a PR !! Will it be merged? If merged then the issue no longer exists then what happens to the work of the other person?

@nitinkgp23 suggested assigning issues to avoid this! But then there are cases where I have 4 issues and 5 people are interested, so assigning may be difficult !! What I was planning is " not merge the PRs ", let the Pull Requests remain open! and after KWoC finishes merge it!

This doesn't look right to me. If there are 4 issues and 5 people then the best thing is to create another issue, if possible. If not, then the 5th person should be advised to work on some other project. This is exactly why the assign feature of Github exists. No one should work on an assigned issue unless the assignee isn't responding and the mentor is open to re-assigning the issue to someone else.

P.S Please have discussions related to such things in the slack channel before making a PR. Will save your time. :)

I think the criteria for successful participation is "feedback from the mentor". End of story?
