APMPlanner 1.0.0 waypoint selection not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Can't get system to select/add waypoints
2.After several tries finally added home and waypoint 1, I couldn't get it to 
add any more after that.
3.Shut down rebooted, wouldn't select any waypoints

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

APMPlanner 1.0.0, Windows 7

There were no errors that showed up.  Tried it again with the old version of 
APMPlanner and it worked fine.  Click on the screen no waypoints selected.

Tried it on a different computer and it worked.  Removed program off of 
original computer, down loaded and reinstalled.  Everything seems to be working 
fine.
