Stabilize mode stops RC input from reaching servos and Speed control #379

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Place APM in SABILIZE MODE VIA transmitter
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should still be able to send RC commands from the TX to the servos

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.2.1 APM code Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
If I set the mode via the TX to manual and set the mode to stabilize via the 
mission planner, I can still pass RC commands via the TX.

that is correct. in any mode, transmitter stick still have function. including 
auto. This is an option that can be turned on and off when compiling yourself.

Perhaps I did not explain the issue properly. I have no stick throughput unless 
the manual mode is selected.

have you setup your radio? CLI > setup > radio?

Please close this. Turns out i I had a defective cell in the battery which 
caused intermittent results but for sure caused the problems I was seeing.
