Since I'm not super familiar with this project, @cg505, can you comment on what kind of feature parity exists (or doesn't exist) between these two solutions? My favorite option here is to archive this (marking it as read-only) and deprecate it in favor of the new system. (dot) But we could also just not archive it… or find some middle ground.

You can definitely deprecate it from my end. My preferred way of handling my Emacs configuration is never touching it, so I wouldn't mind not touching this.

@Sammidysam if I get a change I can look at your config and ensure feature parity. The new one is pretty complete at this point though. But yeah, we probably shouldn't archive this if you're still using it, in case you need to make changes.

It's just kind of hilarious because I wouldn't be using this system at all if you didn't port my original config @cg505
