Really cool! Finally I do not need to patch out the shadow from panel.svg. It would be extra nice if the shadow could only be disabled if there is a maximized window. I think it is similar to Mac.

sounds logical, open a request in Latte dock page: https://github.com/psifidotos/Latte-Dock we have already added (Show background only for maximized window) that gives you a transparent panel that become solid only when there is a maximized window

The transparency looks even nicer! Though it is crashing a lot when I minimize, maximize and switch workspaces. I will make the request. Btw: How can I donate?

are you using latest master? I changed the implementation the last days in order to not have these issues

Thanks. Yes built one hour ago latte-dock-git from AUR. I will open an issue tonight or tomorrow.
