No way to get menu in Fedora 25 #97

Tried a lot, changing system settings and AWC settings itself, it did not show. Only have the git version installed and no original global menu applet active, only AWC

Bump, I'm on Fedora 26, and I've tried the version from dnf. No dice getting it to work!

On fully updated Antergos/Arch I also cannot make the menu to work. (It works by its own widget, but not with this one)

Arch here with the same problem. The "Global Menu" widget and the title bar integrated global menu works, but not the one in this widget.
