Support for LED On/Off button

Describe the solution you'd like:

I would like to have a switch like "Display switch" that sends the "LED ON OFF" command from the remote control to an old AC unit 42MBCB12M5. The remote control looks like the one attached. The button is highlighted in red. In the Brazilian version of this remote, this button is called Do not disturb for some reason.

Describe alternatives you've considered:

I've tested the Display switch and Display switch alternate without success. The display switch works flawlessly with the new unit.

There are 2 different models. Which one is the one where LED on/off not working? Or does this issue occur with both of them?

These two are the same. The other is a new, last year version and it works perfectly with the Display button. Could you please add only one of the older devices to Homebridge, turn on debug mode in Homebridge and send me some logs? I want to see what messages the unit sends to the plugin.

Debug mode is not enabled in your Homebridge instance, that's why that line is missing. Could you please enable it? You can do it by opening the Homebridge settings and searching for Homebridge Debug Mode -D.

Not working. Tried both display and display alternate commands. Tomorrow I will take a look at the logs, delete everything and add only one to see if we can catch these entries. Thanks

Hi. I went over the procedure, removed both similar AC units, restarted, added only one but looks like the outcome of the log is the same. Now using the beta version.

I just got back at this. So when you made this log, did you mess with turning the screen on and off using the remote?

Hi, apologies for the delayed response. I took a new log. But I can tell that I cannot turn the led on/off from the App. The button is "greyed". I enabled the verbose and the detailed log and took this info using the remote control. I could not see a specific command. Perhaps it is not supported.

Hey! I performed some tests using both Display and Display alternate commands and unfortunately it's not working. I think this command is not support in the smart home app for legacy devices. Thanks for the efforts.
