Legacy Editor woes #364

Open joyfulrabbit opened 1 year ago

What happened? Parent pages created in my space with Mark are defaulting to the new editor, which treats white space differently. When I add a Page tree, or text, it appears to be center justified no matter what I change, in the published view. It looks fine in the editor, and upon publish is too right justified.

What did you expect to happen? Auto created a parent page after migrating to confluence cloud. Add a page tree and linked child pages. I can recreate the parent using the legacy editor and all looks good, but auto creation uses the new editor and is not appearing correctly.

How can we reproduce the behavior you experienced? See above.

In case this is related to specific markdown, please provide a minimal markdown example here. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this

My current work around is to create the parent pages in the Confluence UI using the legacy editor. Perhaps there is a way to globally set new pages created to use the legacy editor, or a way to specify these new placeholder pages use the legacy editor.

I'd love your feedback .
