Slimv autodetects the most frequently used lisp-like languages and swank servers. The swank servers are actually not part of slimv, they are separate projects made by other developers.
In case the above autodetection fails, you can always specify the full command for starting the swank server, see the help page and examples for g:slimv_swank_cmd. Now the question is: does a swank server exist for chez scheme? I was not able to find any such swank server. I tried to run swank-mit-scheme.scm, but it just gave me unbound variable errors, so I assume it is not compatible with chez scheme.
If you or anyone else can tell me about an existing and working swank server for chez scheme, then I can add it to slimv and I can improve the autodetection as well. Otherwise I'm just not able to write a swank server on my own (I did not do that for the other laguages, I just "borrowed" them and included in slimv).
