rate of films #1160

in 16.7.2 the scaper cannot give me a rate of the film anymore since a few weeks - is there a fix? all updates are installed thx

IMDb did a redesign before the new year and broke a ton of parsers out in the wild. This could be the reason and the parser may just need an update.

Official Kodi master (https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master/addons/metadata.common.imdb.com/imdb.xml) is more updated than the SPMC scrapers, but @koying needs to analyze if that's due to requirements changes in Leia v18 or if it was truly to fix parsing issues.

i do NOT want to use KODI due to other reasons, so SPMC 16 has to be changed???

Have you updated your addons?

Universal Movie Scraper may need to be updated - it was updated on Dec 22 for v16,17,18 of Kodi and would update ratings.
