TMDB scrapper is broken again, again #1191

hi, There are problems again with the tmdb scrapper. I have the message : "unable to connect to remote server" when I try to scrap the movie...

nb : TVDB scrapper still works...

Seeing same on Nvidia Shield TV 16 GB running the February 2, 2018 version from Google Play.

This seems to be a recurring issue with SPMC and I'm wondering why there is even a need to version the TMDB add-on specially for SPMC? Why can't the official versions of these add-ons be bundled the same as they are in Kodi so that we can pull updates from the official repo? That way when updates occur in the add-on like for api key changes there is no need to put a new version of SPMC out. I'm sure I am overlooking something but this seems unnecessary.

Arh i thought it was my SPMC broken ,at least i know its all..is there a fix yet please. i am very new to all this .i have gone back to kodi for now but it does not play my films as smooth and it wont even play some it just crashes,,,please help fix SPMC as its brilliant.

I'll do a last attempt to mitigate the issue by using a SPMC key. If that one gets stolen and put down by the MPAA, next update will ask the users for their own TMDB key.

Very much ironic. Those people stealing the kodi keys are why the keys are put down and don't work anymore

Just updated SPMC to 17.6-Alpha2 and seems to be working again ok...

Is there a method of fixing this when using SPMC (16.7.03) on a Nvidia shield?

We have to install these 2 zip files For TMDB addon... Tested on my samsung S6, it's working on SPMC 16.7.03

I have not yet been able to test on the shield (i'm not at home)

Here the good files : metadata.common.themoviedb.org-3.1.2.zip metadata.themoviedb.org-4.1.3.zip

Updated SPMC and also TVDB addon. Works now!
