Large Audio Sync problems on some TrueHD tracks #163

Hi Koying,

Danjames92 suggested I start a new issue rather than tagging on to his one. Apologies if this is the third time you've seen it!

Some, not all, TrueHD tracks are out of sync by several seconds, including the one on the log below. I don't seem to have this problem on DTS HD tracks. All my settings I would consider to be normal, unless you tell me otherwise!

Just wanted to toss my name into the hat that is also seeing this in case you need additional tester or what not to debug this.

So far I've only run into one MKV file with a TrueHD + Atmos soundtrack that looked to be about 120ms out of sync. Playing that file on my PC seems to be fine.

Hi koying,

Just tried to watch Cloverfield, another Truehd track, and this time amp was showing "stereo" instead of truehd but sound was not coming through at all. Log here

Watched the film in kodi 17 and it played fine.

Hi Koying. thanks very much for the update! Just in case your TrueHD tweaks were for the benefit of the issue I raised a couple of days ago, unfortunately it is still the same. I have attached the log on the chance that it may be of help....

Updated to 16.2 via the Play Store this evening and the one file I was have audio sync issues with seems to be playing just fine now. Will test with a few other TrueHD files that played fine before the update to make sure nothing new has popped up.
