8 years ago i have this too. only happens on spmc tried kodi. no problem there only after the 3.2 update.

Approximately 10 to 15 minutes into a live tv stream (from tvheadend) I get weird freezes in the video - audio is unaffected. The freezes are less than a second and repeat every 10 to 15s approximately.
This happens with SD mpeg2 or HD h.264.
A log is here, it happens approximately from 18.30 onwards (as far as I can see there is nothing in the log).

If it would help I can video the problem? It has been happening since the return of SPMC, it only occurs with live streams. Watching recorded tvheadend content does not show the problem.
Hardware is NVidia Shield connected via homeplugs to a gigabit network. The same issues happens with my second Shield which is wired directly into the network. Kodi on LibreElec on RPi2 & Chromebox do not show this issue (RPi is wireless too)
