can't restore backup from Kodi to spmc #381

Can't restore backup from Kodi to spmc since it say there folder yet in Kofi there is.

Kodi and SPMC use different data directory paths. You have to copy the contents of the Kodi data directory into the SPMC data directory manually to migrate you Kodi setup to SPMC.

I used Ares restore and it seemed to work fine. Is this not recommended?

Assuming Ares allows you to restore the files into a different directory then they were backed up from, then sure it should work.
