Problems importing videos - Nvidia Shield Android TV #387

Maybe there is something I'm doing wrong with SPMC 16.3.0..... I connect an external drive to the Shield TV and assign a content to the root folder with the videos (let's say "film" with internal .nfo file). Then I update the library. The videos are then listed correctly in the "Video" menu but when I change to "Movies" and look for "Title" no one is present at all. I've to go back to the "Video" menu, select one movie, and then it's added also to the "Movies" section. I also updated the library several times but no way to have the "Movies" showing all the videos in the HD Film folder. I'm getting crazy! May you help me? Thanks in advance

Assuming your content is named correctly, stored in the recommend directory structure, paths added and content type defined correctly for each path, then scanning for new contend should work and they should show up in the proper Movie, TV, Music menus. It doesn't sound like you're having some sort of permission problem since you're able to navigate your content and view it via the Video / Files view.

Maybe make sure you have the recursive scan option enabled on the folders added if your contend is stored in sub-folders.
