Can't play some .ts/MPEG files #408

I have some .ts format HD music videos. SPMC can't play, just displayed an empty background. But MX Player(with custom codec for AC3) or VLC Player can play them without any problem. The .ts file codec information I got from VLC is below:

Could you provide a sample? Or make the file available?

@koying Sample added. It cutted by Smart Cutter.

Mediacodec just choke on the encoding for unknown reason. Nothing much I can do. Just disable MPEG2 acceleration altogether (Setting-Video-Acceleration) and it'll run fine in s/w

Koying I have the same thing with a live tv addon nl24 but if you say it's the mediacodec casing this. Why does it work in kodi 16.1 with media codec enabled?

I meant causing. But if it's the mediacodec I could mention it to nvidia. But really hard to explain if it does work in kodi
