SPMC not adding some shows

Hi! I couldn't find an official forum and I saw you say this was about as close as it gets so i'm posting here.

I just bought an nvidia shield and installed SPMC. And for some reason a few of my TV shows are not showing up in the TV shows section. If i go into the files and click on the folder I can play them that way. But it's like for some reason they aren't being added correctly.

Now I know a lot of times this is due to naming, but I don't think that's the issue. I had a NUC HTPC with kodi on it before the shield and these shows were added perfectly fine!

A little background in case it helps : Files are on a home file server running server 2012 R2 Sharing using SMB As far as I can tell SPMC is current and up to date Show is named like: Videos/game of thrones/season 1/ game of thrones s01e01 - "episode name.mkv"

And it isn't just this one series. There is at least 1 other that isn't added, that also was fine on my HTPC.

Interestingly enough, I tried the kodi 17 beta and the exact same shows are also not adding on there.
