AMlogic S912 - DTS audio drop every 9-10 Seconds #462

Hi Koying,

I think on the AMLogic S912 returned the old bug from my S905. This time the DTS audio drops every 9-10 seconds.

All the rest works perfect on Image and no drop frames, Only DTS sound passthrough.

Tested with Kodi and SPMC happens in all.

My is Beelink Gt1, but i think all S912 CPUs are doing the same behaviour. Could need be fixed on the AMlogic SDK?

Needs a Android Firmware update basically. Good luck with that knowing Beelink's track record. If that all sounds a bit harsh, simply return the device.

It looks like this SoC is in a lot of the recent devices. For example I think the Beelink GT1 has the same chipset as the T95Z, XPlayer and a slew of others. There are some firmware updates of freaktab.com for this chip, and discussion of it working on similar boxes. You could try one of those but I don't know what the update fixes. I think the last one released was in Jan, but check to confirm.
