No lfe/subwoofer channel #463

If I use raw pass through the receiver handles the audio just fine. But if I use multichannel pcm I don't get any lfe channel over hdmi. This is both reproducible on spmc and kodi. Either spmc, the receiver or the android tv os is at blame. Can anyone reproduce this issue?

I have the same problem. Two other forum members confirmed it as well at geforce forums. Problem is with nvidia shield 3.2. Worked in 2.1 and broke sometime between.

Is that what you are using?

I have a nvidia shied, how do I get the firmware version number? The issue is hard to pin down what part ot blame, so far I have one file that is clearly missing the lfe channel. Can you direct me to the posts in the geforce forums ? I will prepare the test sample for this.

Basically ANY pcm output from the shield will have a silent LFE channel. Bitstreaming works properly.
