Amlogic 16.4.2 don't work Adjust display framerate #533

Hi, i've Tv box Android 6.1 Videostrong Yoka KB2 based on S912 cpu. I set Adjust display framerate to on Start and stop or everytime, but when i watch a film don't switch to 1080p/23.976Hz, but stay on 1080p/60hz (Android automatic best resolution). I set on in android playback setting. Sync playback to display is set to off because using passthrough audio. Thanks in advance

Amlogic has not yet implemented the "proper" way to do refresh rate switching in their Andoid 6. OTOH (at least on the S912 box I have), selinux (stronger security) is enabled, preventing the "old" way to work.

Bottom-line: No solution until aml improve their andoid 6 firmware

Wonderfull, shit, I've another amlogic android box tv LP 5.1.1 and Adjust display framerate works very well...

I've a Amlogic S912 on Android 6.0.1 framerate Works. Box Bqeel K12 Android TV 2GB
