No hardware acceleration watching Live-TV. 16.4-2 #560

When playing Live-TV HD streams from Tvheadend backend, the HW acceleration is not working, CPU loads 100% and skipping frames. It is working fine on SD-channels with about 5-10% of CPU load.

The settings are set to always use acceleration.

Using Nexbox A1, Amlogic S912.

The TVHeadend addon for Kodi Jarvis hasn't been updated since June 2016 and I don't think the issue will be solved soon, otherwise the addon developer would have fixed it already. https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hts/commits/Jarvis It looks like there are only updates for Kodi 17/18 at the moment and it is still broken there https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hts/commits/master

Thanks! I also tried now om my Samsung Galaxy Tab, same problem with HD channels. the HW acceleration works with SD channels on booth units though.
